CROP Creative Media is a proud supporter of Wounded Warrior Project, whose vision is to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history. Most recently, CROP Creative Media produced the honoree videos that were shown at Wounded Warrior Project’s annual Courage Awards and Benefit Dinner held in New York City at the Waldorf Astoria. Honorees included broadcaster Bob Costas; Under Armour and its visionary founder Kevin Plank; and Wounded Warrior Brian Kolfage, Jr. who received the George C. Lang Award for Courage. In addition, CROP Creative Media has produced videos for Wounded Warrior Project’s TRACK program, Carry Forward Awards, and Tough Mudder. Our work with Wounded Warrior Project allows us to focus on our storytelling – our key strength.
Internships
CROP Creative Media supports the internship process by providing internships to college students who have expressed an interest in video production and post-production. The internship period coincides with the sponsoring school’s internship program. All interns, regardless of their specific area of expertise, will be asked to participate in the entirety of the video production process, from concept to finished product.
Interns will be asked to create proposals, develop production calendars, help with video shoots, practice using video editing software, and sit in on post-production procedures, including sound and graphic design. They will interact with the team and with clients. They will be able to provide feedback on existing processes and make suggestions to improve the way we do business. They will be asked to write a report summarizing their internship experience.
Interns will be provided with access to appropriate equipment to perform the tasks required. They may bring their own laptops if they prefer. They are expected to provide their own transportation to and from work. Their usual work days and work hours will be established by their supervisor when the internship begins. They will be expected to arrive promptly for their established shift. If they are unable to make their shift due to illness or emergency, they will be expected to call in and speak to the business owner or their supervisor. The dress code at CROP Creative Media is business casual. For more information, call CROP Creative Media at 904.683.6073.
Approval Process
There are standard approval stages for proposed video projects: acceptance of proposed creative direction/script or storyboard; attendance and approval at location shoot; approval of support elements such as music and graphics; and approval and acceptance of edited final product. Should any revisions be necessary following client-approval stages and occurring outside of the scope of the original agreed-upon approach, billing adjustments will be made with prior notification and agreement from client. CROP Creative Media typically issues a short letter of agreement once the terms have been settled with prospective clients. The terms of the agreement require 50 percent payment upon acceptance before any work can begin on the project. The balance will be billed following delivery and acceptance of the finished projects. After we meet to discuss our proposal and make any needed adjustments, we will generate the agreement letter for signatures and dates. Then we will send an invoice via e-mail. We look forward to hearing from you and we would love to help you with your next media project!
